May 15th. 2:20 PM. Informant Visit. Informant is a 20-year-old white male, 5’11”. The Officer visits the informant’s house seeking new information on narcotic distribution on a nearby college campus. The informant displays a jittery, paranoid demeanor. He believes that he has given enough information to the DEA to be let off the hook for his previous narcotics-related charges. The Officer calmly lets the informant know that he’s in no position to negotiate. Ultimately, the informant agrees to give up some crucial information regarding a local drug dealer.
